There's a certain feeling in the air this election season. It seems as though our whole way of life depends on the outcome of the election. With the campaign lasting two years, it's kind of scary to think it has all come down to this: Obama with his far-left liberal agenda and McCain with his center-left agenda. I believe for the average working man it comes down to the lesser of two evils. Not that I think McCain is evil. I whole heartedly appreciate and respect his service to our country and I believe he is sincere in wanting to put America first and fight corruption. But, let's face it. He's not the most conservative person. On the other side, we have a radical socialist ready to tax the pants off us and redistribute accordingly. And a congress chomping at the bit, ready to put that far-left agenda into action.
This election goes beyond these two men. I do not trust that either one will be able to fulfill their hefty promises. But, as a concerned american, I loothe the thought of liberals controlling both congress and the White House.
At the end of the day, all you can do is vote. The rest is in God's hands. I suggest that is who our focus should be on anyway.
